Lee Beach is considered the main beach in Pefkos and has recently been awarded Blue Flag status. The Blue Flag is a world-renowned eco-label trusted by millions around the globe. In order to qualify for this award, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety-related and access-related criteria must be met and maintained. To you as a visitor this means that the sea here is clean and safe and that there are security measures in place to make sure you and your family are, quite literally, in safe waters.

Lee Beach is ideal for paddling, splashing around, serious swimming and of course sunbathing; there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available for hire on the beach and there are changing cubicles on the beach and toilets on the road just above. There is a small watersports section and small boats are available for hire from here. The beach here is fine and sandy and gradually slopes gently into the sea – the water is shallow for around 20 metres from shore and then slowly increases in depth. Depending on how rough the winter storms were, there are sometimes stones and rocks at one end of the beach but we do our best to make the largest possible expanse rock-free. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops within easy reach of Lee Beach and it is easily accessible both by car and on foot. There is a large car park just above the beach.
