St Thomas Beach

St Thomas beach is a small sheltered bay where many local fisherman moor their boats. It is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing and there are some sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. Bring your own refreshments as there are no catering facilities here. The beach is smooth and sandy with rockpools at one end.

The water along the main part of the beach reaches several metres’ depth within about 10 metres of shore so children and those who are not confident swimmers should be carefully supervised here. St Thomas beach is accessible by car although there is no organised parking and also by foot … but be warned, the road back up is quite steep!
